New aspects of Diabetes

Diabetes is a leading cause of death and reduced life expectancy. In 2022, more than 828 million people worldwide suffered from diabetes, and global estimates indicate a rapid increase in both prevalence and incidence.

Diabetes is primarily caused by the body's inability to produce sufficient insulin or use it effectively (insulin resistance), leading to high blood sugar levels. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune reaction that destroys insulin-producing cells, while type 2 diabetes is caused by genetic predisposition, obesity, insufficient physical activity, and diet. Gestational diabetes is caused by pregnancy hormones that cause insulin resistance.

Despite extensive research, the cause and pathophysiology of diabetes are complex and remain unclear. Therefore, treatments are still being sought.

Our goal is to investigate the causes and origins of diabetes using an innovative approach of quantum biocomputing and principles of the physics of life. A deeper understanding of natural processes and quantum biocomputing will allow us to continue research at a more fundamental level.

Following the successful validation of our key findings, this project aims to expand their applicability, improving usability and scaling clinical impact in healthcare.

The trials are independent.
